Mexican gas supplies hit by rebel attacks

A small rebel group’s attacks on a natural gas pipeline of the state oil company Pemex are costing businesses in central Mexico – many foreign-owned – millions of dollars a day in lost production.

Vitro, the Mexican glass-maker, said it alone was losing $800,000 (€583,000, £395,000) a day as a result of the attacks.
