Guardian looks to a mini format in search for youth

The Guardian has become the latest publisher to test a smaller format newspaper aimed at the youngerreaders which print titles are finding increasingly elusive.

Dummy editions of two titles - Guardian Mini and NB - have been shown to focus groups in recent weeks, featuring a selection of news stories and comment designed to appeal to 18- to 34-year-old readers.
