Impairment costs push Adecco into loss

Adecco, the world’s biggest temporary employment group, announced a second quarter loss on restructuring costs and impairment charges under its new chief executive.

The figures were the company’s first under Patrick De Maeseneire, chief executive since June and formerly head of Switzerland’s Barry Callebaut chocolate group.
