Boris Johnson is to announce plans on Tuesday to speed up the delivery of public land in London to build up to 32,000 social homes beyond current targets.

The mayor will launch an exercise to calculate how much land is owned by authorities such as the London Development Agency, the Metropolitan Police and the emergency services.
