Hospitals warned against exporting drugs

NHS hospitals are facing a government clampdown on their plans to make profits by exporting medicines that were originally bought for NHS patients.

The move comes as the Department of Health said it was to stockpile billions of doses of drugs and infusions in case the flu pandemic worsened to the point where it disrupted the supply chain for medicines.
