Sir Fred faces further pressure

Sir Fred Goodwin will come under renewed pressure to give up some of his £700,000-a-year pension this week when the government's investment arm makes a protest vote against it, writes Jim Pickard .

UKFI, the arm's-length body that controls public-owned stakes in nationalised banks, is expected to vote against Sir Fred's retirement package at the Royal Bank of Scotland annual meeting in Edinburgh on Friday.
