Property investors in many parts of eastern Europe can no longer hope for a simple growth in capital values to make their money, forcing a readjustment of strategy into stock selection and asset management.

Countries once seen as the new frontier are now old hat, with some east European states becoming as established for international investors as their counterparts in the west.
