The prime ministers of Croatia and Slovenia were expected to meet in Stockholm on Wednesday to sign an agreement to resolve their troublesome maritime border dispute through an arbitration process led by the European Union.

Croatia’s parliament late on Monday night gave approval to the centre-right prime minister, Jadranka Kosor, to sign the document, confirming the deal reached in September to unblock Zagreb’s EU accession talks.
