Inflation is in danger of “getting out of control” in some emerging economies, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, managing director of the International Monetary Fund, has told the Financial Times.
In an interview at the end of the G8 summit, Mr Strauss-Kahn said one of the most useful things the G8 did was to “underline the importance of inflation” and the threat it posed to the world economy and the poor in particular.
