Revelation of losses puts heat on AIG chief

Martin Sullivan, chief executive of American International Group, has worked hard to restore investor confidence in the insurer since an accounting scandal led to the ousting of his long-serving predecessor, Hank Greenberg, in 2005.

After Monday’s revelations, he will have to work harder still.
