Google targets business users

Google is making a serious push into the business software market with a challenge to Microsoft and IBM as it launches a $50-a-year package of online tools for companies.

The internet company is offering businesses a package of internet-hosted messaging, word processing and spreadsheet services as a lightweight and cheaper alternative to the features on Microsoft's Office software suite.
