ALB, Saudi Arabia, Oct 10 - Much-needed aid for refugees fleeing fighting in a renewed Shi’ite revolt in northern Yemen was delayed for another day on Saturday and Yemen’s military said they had killed 100 rebels.
The fighting between the army and insurgents of the Zaydi Shi’ite Muslim sect has killed hundreds and displaced tens of thousands in the poorest Arab country. Zaydi rebels complain of political and economic marginalisation by the government.
