Dana to cut 3,000 jobs in Chrysler rethink

The automotive supply group Dana Holding is to cut about 3,000 jobs, or about 9 per cent of its workforce, in a further sign of trouble for the North American car industry.

The Toledo, Ohio-based company, which emerged from bankruptcy protection in January, made the announcement as it reported a wider quarterly net loss and lowered its outlook for full-year revenue.
