Storm clouds gather for M&S annual meeting

The sun is shining and strawberries, salads and spotty dresses are flying off the shelves at Marks and Spencer.

Sunshine for M&SBut the summer spending, which helped M&S report better-than-expected trading in its first quarter, is unlikely to be enough to disperse the dark clouds gathering over the retailer ahead of what is expected to be a stormy annual meeting next week.
