The top brass of New York state’s Democratic party were out in full force at Hillary Clinton’s Manhattan rally on Tuesday night, including Charlie Rangel, the powerful congressman from Harlem, and governor Eliot Spitzer – both staunch supporters of Clinton.
But there was one noticeable absence: Chuck Schumer, New York’s senior senator, was not there to cheer Clinton’s primary victory in her (adopted) home state.
