Ireland’s Europe minister on Friday urged those intending to back next week’s vital rerun referendum on the European Union’s Lisbon treaty to “bring the same passion to the debate as people on the No side”.

Dick Roche said the latest poll, which gives the Yes side a solid lead, was “absolutely no reason to be complacent.”
