Sir, In your article “‘Goldilocks’ scheme lures wealth managers” (FTfm November 2), the question was asked of Insch, the promoter of the structured product, as to why it had been designed with no apparent theoretical basis for specific asset allocation. The answer given was: “Because people will buy it like this.”
