Bigger UK sixth forms score higher marks

Pupils at bigger sixth forms achieve much better results than those in smaller schools, according to research.

The findings provide a counter-argument to the recent trend for academies and other secondary schools to open new sixth forms, which are often small in the early years as they fight to attract a clientele.
