Invensys caps recovery with FTSE 100 candidacy

Engineering company Invensys is set to be rewarded for its corporate rehabilitation and recovery from near financial collapse four years ago by inclusion in the elite club of FTSE 100 companies.

The company looks set to be promoted to the index alongside Ferrexpo, the Ukrainian-based iron ore mining group that listed in London last June and is controlled by Kostyantin Zhevago, the billionaire businessman and politician.
