Terror suspects seized at Cologne airport

German police boarded a plane preparing for take-off at Cologne-Bonn airport early on Friday morning and arrested two men suspected of planning terrorist attacks.

A state police official said the men, a Somali, 23, and a Somali-born German, 24, had left suicide notes in their flat in preparation for a “holy war”.
