Renewable energy in South Africa will receive a boost tomorrow with the launch of a market for trading "green" energy in Johannesburg.

Amatola Green Power is pioneering the trading of energy from renewable sources in the hope that it will increase demand for electricity from renewables such as wind, solar and hydroelectricity, and the use of biofuels instead of fossil fuels.
