Me and my adviser: In tune with family affairs

Emanuele Cairo, managing director of Barclays Private Equity in Italy, is sitting in his elegant office on the Foro Buonaparte in the heart of Milan with Saverio Rondelli of Compass, Rondelli Advisers, the Italian arm of the international boutique Compass Advisers.

The pair have only known each other for two years, but they have worked together on half a dozen deals in that time and the atmosphere is relaxed.
