Inquiry on plight of vulnerable workers

Unions and business leaders have joined forces to launch a commission to investigate the plight of vulnerable workers including migrants and some agency and temporary workers.

Employers represented on the Commission on Vulnerable Employment, which has been launched by the Trades Union Congress, include Kevin Beeston chairman of Serco, the public sector outsourcing group; Belinda Earl, chief executive of Jaeger, the fashion retailer; and Paul Myners, chairman of property group Land Securities.
