Executive jets seen to pose terror risk

The corporate aviation industry could face tighter regulations, similar to those imposed on commercial airlines, because of growing security concerns that it is vulnerable to being used in a major terrorist attack.

In recent months security advisers to the British Department of Transport have been secretly consulting key people in the growing global industry about additional policing measures, increased passenger information, and restrictions on the use of foreign air strips thought to be particularly vulnerable to use by terrorists.
