Nasdaq cancels trading on Google

Google shares plunged shortly before the close of trading yesterday before the Nasdaq stock market cancelled all trading activity that occurred in the stock in the three minutes before, and two minutes after, the market closed.

The move by the Nasdaq came in response to what it called erroneous orders that the Nasdaq said were triggered by orders routed from another exchange.
