Arun Sarin on Tuesday sought to dispel fears about slowing revenue growth at Vodafone by predicting the mobile phone company would make more acquisitions in Africa and Asia.

That came as Mr Sarin announced plans to step down in July from the world’s largest mobile operator by revenue, with Vittorio Colao, Vodafone’s deputy chief executive, succeeding him.
