Number of immigrants too high, says Tory leader

The number of immigrants entering Britain is "too high" and restrictions should be placed on migration into the country from future members of the European Union, David Cameron said yesterday.

In a BBC interview, the Conservative party leader also argued that immigration had put "too great a burden on public services" and "needs to be better controlled".
