O2, Carphone Warehouse slash iPhone price

O2 and Carphone Warehouse have cut £100 from the cheaper model of Apple’s iPhone, fuelling speculation that a 3G version of the device will be released this summer.

From Wednesday, the eight-gigabyte version of Apple’s mobile device will be available for £169 until June 1 2008.
