Auditors refuse to sign off Brussels accounts

The European Union’s auditors on Monday refused to sign off its accounts for the 12th year in a row as a dispute erupted over how they go about their job.

Siim Kallas, the administration commissioner, on Monday criticised the working methods of the Luxembourg-based court of auditors in an interview with the Financial Times.
