Orange dashes hopes of iPhone price war

Orange, the UK’s third-largest mobile phone operator, unveiled its tariffs for Apple’s iPhone on Monday, dashing consumer hopes of a price war over the popular handset in the run-up to Christmas.

Orange will be selling the iPhone from November 10. Its tariffs are broadly similar to those of O2, the UK’s largest mobile operator, whose two-year-old status as the exclusive British network for the Apple handset is about to end.
