ICE Clear Europe clears €382m in CDS in first week

ICE Trust Europe, the European clearing house, cleared €382m worth of CDS contracts in its first week of operations last week, according to its parent, the IntercontinentalExchange.

The number dwarves the amount of CDS contracts also cleared last week by rival Eurex Credit Clear, a similar CDS clearing house launched by Deutsche Börse.
