Leaders from 20 of the world’s advanced and emerging countries are due to meet in London on April 2 to discuss how to revive the global economy. As officials from G20 member countries attend ‘sherpa’ meetings ahead of the summit, there is increasing pressure to find ways of translating the organisers’ grand hopes into concrete progress.
