EU trio's relief over Tehran's nuclear offer may prove short-lived

The British, French and German team of nuclear negotiators arrived at a March 23 meeting with Iranian officials in Paris expecting a drama.

The talks, intended to find ways of curbing Iran's nuclear programme, had been going on for three months with neither side budging. Noises were coming out of Tehran warning that Iran's patience was running out.
