BAE wins US Army contract

BAE Systems, Europe’s largest defence contractor, has won a $601m contract from the US Army to repair and upgrade heavy infantry vehicles damaged in Iraq and Afghanistan.

BAE will refurbish 606 Bradley fighting vehicles at facilities in Pennsylvania as part of a military reset – a process to repair vehicles after wear and tear on the battlefield.
