Credit Suisse sees acquisition chances

Brady Dougan, chief executive of Credit Suisse, has predicted that the next two years could be as tumultuous as the past two as global financial groups jockey for position amid an evolving competitive landscape.

Mr Dougan, the first American to head a top Swiss bank, said the coming months would create big opportunities for institutions, such as Credit Suisse, that had emerged from the credit crisis with a strong balance sheet and its strategy intact.
