Turmoil triggers a review of relationships

Large and midsized UK plcs are spoilt for choice when it comes to corporate brokers, which could help explain why some are reviewing their arrangements.

The bulge-bracket investment banks are waging a battle royal for clients in the FTSE 100 and the top of the FTSE 250, while the drying up of the Aim market has led many midsized and boutique brokerages to focus on the 250 and smaller companies on the main London Stock Exchange.
