Did IT work? Business continuity plan leads to office moves

When Engine, a design, communications and marketing group, updated its business continuity plan a year and a half ago, Sadaya Chalisey, its head of IT, did not realise he was laying the foundations for relocating the entire company to a single central London location.

The project was to set up a disaster-recovery site, based on a need to move away from tape-based back-up for the group’s 12 operating companies.
