N Korea stands firm on nuclear weapons

North Korea will never dismantle its nuclear weapons programme and will not resume talks about the issue unless the US drops its hostile policies, according to the country's state news agency.

The Korean Central News Agency accused Washington of applying double standards by putting pressure on North Korea to dismantle its nuclear facilities while ignoring secret nuclear experiments carried out by South Korea, a US ally.
