Chrysler and Nissan in production deal

Chrysler and Nissan Motor have unveiled a deal to produce small cars and trucks for each other in a sign of a deepening relationship between the two companies.

Nissan will build a fuel-efficient small car for Chrysler based on the US carmaker’s concept and design. It will be produced at Nissan’s Oppama plant in Japan and sold in North America, Europe and other global markets from 2010.
