Driving Business the Web 2.0 Way

Today, business stands at a crossroads of changing corporate structure, a transformation of employee behaviour driven by a new generation entering the workforce, and the availability of a bevy of new technologies led by the new world of Web 2.0.

Specifically, organisations are increasingly geographically dispersed, with employees, sales people, suppliers, partners, and outsourced labour working across many time zones. At the same time, the young generation entering the workforce brings with it a much more collaborative, information-sharing culture than its predecessor. And finally, new consumer Web 2.0 technologies facilitate the kind of information-sharing these young people are doing at home.
