COMPANIES JC Flowers, the US private equity group run by dealmaker Chris Flowers, has strengthened its London team after appointing Sir Callum McCarthy, former chairman of the UK’s Financial Services Authority, to the new position of European chairman.
The private equity group has also named David Morgan, the former chief executive of Australia’s Westpac bank, as managing director of Europe and Asia Pacific.
