Gulf storms and Nigeria unions lift crude

Oil prices rose Monday amid concerns about potential disruptions to supply in Nigeria and the Persian Gulf. A tropical storm in the Arabian Sea is expected to reach Oman Tuesday but should miss Saudi Arabia’s main exporting region.

ICE July Brent rose $1.30 to $70.37 a barrel, while Nymex July West Texas Intermediate climbed $1.18 to $66.26 a barrel.
