McDonald’s: Difference that Russians enjoy

Amid the grey apartment blocks of Solntsevo, a southern suburb of Moscow, stands something unique in McDonald’s entire global system of company owned and franchised restaurants: a McDonald’s owned factory producing its own burgers and buns.

This is McComplex, a 100,000 sq ft plant where 60,000 beef patties and 24,000 sesame seeded buns fly off the production lines every hour, as well as pies, ketchup and Big Mac sauce.
