Burger King falls foul of Madrid

Burger King, the world’s second-largest fast-food chain, has become the latest producer of consumer goods to fall foul of the Spanish government’s campaign for a healthier nation.

The Spanish health ministry on Thursday said the chain should withdraw an advertising campaign for its “Whopper XXL” burgers because the campaign contravened a pact by restaurants to refrain from promoting large portions.
