‘Locusts’ swarm to Germany in effort to improve image

The heads of the world’s largest buy-out groups will arrive in Frankfurt this week amid lingering concerns about the industry’s poor image in Germany after it was attacked last year by a leading politician.

Henry Kravis, founder of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and a pioneer of the buy-out industry, will on Tuesday present the opening address to the Super Return conference where he is scheduled to speak on private equity’s “value creation”.
