UK DC pension plans not ‘valued’

Employers are failing to convince staff of the value of their defined contribution pension plans, according to a survey by Mercer, a consultancy.

Although nearly 80 per cent of UK employers surveyed by Mercer said they would measure the success of their DC pension arrangements by whether they were “valued by employees”, just 16 per cent of them felt they had achieved this goal.
