Somali president isolated over PM row

Somalia’s president saw his international support crumble on Tuesday as Kenya called him an obstacle to peace and threatened to impose sanctions on him after he tried to sack his prime minister.

Moses Wetangula, Kenya’s foreign minister, issued a blunt rebuke to Abdullahi Yusuf, Somalia’s president, two days after his attempt to dismiss a prime minister whom foreign diplomats regard as a much needed peacemaker.
