Short View: The Fed’s morning after

The dust is not clearing from the news that the Federal Reserve would let policy rates drop to zero and intervene in the market when necessary.

But some things are clearer. First, is the weakness of the dollar. On a trade-weighted basis, it has dropped 11 per cent in a month.
