Al-Qaeda’s second-in-command criticised Barack Obama on Wednesday for his support for Israel.

In the first al-Qaeda reaction to the US presidential election, Ayman al-Zawahiri described Mr Obama and other black Americans who have served in high positions as “house negroes”, a term used by Malcolm X, the late militant.
