Teachers fail to nurture young entrepreneurs

Teachers and college lecturers are failing to nurture the entrepreneurial talent in their classrooms, according to a poll of more than 1,000 16- to 30-year-olds.

The research, conducted for the 25th anniversary of the Prince’s Trust Business Programme, found that 73 per cent of respondents felt schools and colleges promoted “safe” careers over going it alone with a start-up.
